Monday Motivation: Feeling Stuck?

Monday Motivation: Feeling Stuck?

Monday Motivation, 6.18.18

Every Monday, The Rogers-Long Team meets for one of its two weekly meetings. The Monday meeting always ends with “Monday Motivation” in which a few minutes are spent listening to one team member presenting a quote, a quick reading from a book, a scene from a movie, or anything else they find motivating to provide a “spark” to the whole team on a Monday morning.

“You are not stuck where you are, unless you decide to be.”

– Wayne Dyer

Feeling stuck? You have a choice.

You have to make a conscious decision to respond accordingly to various circumstances. In this day in age, you can find the solutions to almost any problem depending upon how resourceful you choose to be. You can choose to be stagnant or you can choose to pursue a solution to your problem and act on it. You have the choice as to where you will end up, how your day will go, and which goals you achieve. You are the boss of your own life.

Feeling stuck? Change your perspective.

Ask yourself what you can do differently to have a different outcome. It doesn’t have to be a huge change. Start with something small. Maybe you’ll take the scenic route home from work or maybe splurge on something you’ve had your eye on. Change your perspective, change your mood, change your day. The next time you’re having a bad day or feeling ‘stuck’, continue to do the things that will progress you towards your goal. It may not be your best work, but it’s progress which will keep you moving forward.

The RLT excitedly brought Kaitlyn on to work with buyers and sellers due to her humility, inner drive to succeed, and her fun-loving attitude. Kaitlyn has found a lot of early success in her career on The Rogers-Long Team, and has already produced more in 6 months in 2018 than she did all of 2017!
