Every Monday, The Rogers-Long Team meets for one of its two weekly meetings. The Monday meeting always ends with “Monday Motivation” in which a few minutes are spent listening to one team member presenting a quote, a quick reading from a book, a scene from a movie, or anything else they find motivating to provide a “spark” to the whole team on a Monday morning

“Don’t Talk about it, be about it.”
Procrastination is an ugly word when you think about it; correlating with stress, being anxious and feeling overwhelmed. People who tend to procrastinate realize that they do and often state that they want to change. Motivational speaker Eric Thomas says, “Don’t talk about it, be about it”, stop saying you’re going to do that dreaded task, just go ahead and get it done.
Here is a link to an article from MindTools.com on strategies to avoid procrastinating. It’s wonderful to want to stop but without the proper tools one may not be successful. Start today what you avoided doing yesterday and accept the feeling of accomplishment as it yours to own.
