Justin Clift

Justin Clift joined the Rogers-Long Team in June of 2021, after spending nearly 20 years working behind the scenes in professional baseball and college athletics.

Born in Arlington, Virginia, and raised in Richmond, Justin is a graduate of Mills Godwin High School, where he played football and was a member of the Eagles 1999 Virginia AAA State Championship Baseball Team. In the summers, Justin served as a visiting clubhouse attendant for the Richmond Braves, a role he would continue to play throughout his undergraduate tenure at Radford University, and his graduate time at VCU. At Radford, Justin served as a student assistant baseball coach, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Highlander baseball team, while earning a B.S. in Exercise, Sport and Health Education. At VCU, Justin was an assistant baseball coach from 2005-2006, and part of a Rams team that won the 2005 CAA Championship, while earning his master’s degree from the Center for Sports Leadership. In 2007, Justin moved into the professional baseball ranks full-time, when he became the home clubhouse manager for the Richmond Braves, who won the International League Championship that season. Thereafter, Justin was promoted by the Atlanta Braves, where he would go on to serve as the Coordinator of Florida Operations/Minor League Equipment Manager. In that position, for seven years, Justin oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Braves training complex in Orlando, while also being responsible for ordering all of their equipment for the minor league system. In 2015, Justin joined the Washington Nationals organization for two seasons as a minor league clubhouse manager: One year in Low-A with the Potomac Nationals, and one year in AAA with the Syracuse Chiefs. Justin then came home to the University of Richmond, where he would work as the Director of Equipment Operations for Spiders Athletics for three years, helping the University transition into to their brand-new athletic facilities, before leaving to work on earning his real estate license.

On the Rogers-Long Team, Justin not only serves as a licensed realtor, but more importantly as the transaction coordinator, where he assists all parties in the contract to close process. Justin is also on the front lines of every RLT home listing, making sure every detail is covered, ensuring a seamless process for the client. Known as “The King” of the RLT, Justin is a 2022 winner of Hometown Realty’s “Treat People the Way You Want to Be Treated” Award, and was also recognized with the agency’s “Rising Star” Award. Benjamin Rogers, team lead of the RLT says, “Justin’s Superpower is his love and commitment to the team and the mission. We wouldn’t be us without him.”

Justin resides in Rockville, VA, and is an avid baseball fan and golfer. He is also the team’s resident music expert, especially when it comes to the 80’s and classic rock. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his girlfriend, Shannah, especially to Major League Baseball games.
