Monday Motivation: Luck is not a factor

Monday Motivation, 6.11.18

Every Monday, The Rogers-Long Team meets for one of its two weekly meetings. The Monday meeting always ends with “Monday Motivation” in which a few minutes are spent listening to one team member presenting a quote, a quick reading from a book, a scene from a movie, or anything else they find motivating to provide a “spark” to the whole team on a Monday morning.
“Hope is not a strategy. Luck is not a factor. Fear is not an option.”
-James Cameron
Hope is a great thing to have. It is even better when it is partnered with an action plan. What are you doing to turn your hopes and dreams into a reality? Hope is a start, but it will only be a thought, unless it is acted upon.
The harder you work, the luckier you get. All of the connections and interactions you make, put you in a position for the right breaks. “Lucky” people don’t pass up opportunities.
Fear leads to hesitation and self-doubt. That takes over. Don’t let someone or something make you believe you cannot do something. Everything you want is on the other side of fear.
Don’t fear. Have hope. Get lucky.
